ST. Saine: Origins

WELL, IT'S NOT MUCH, HONESTLY.

YA SEE, IT ALL STARTS IN A FLORIDA TOWN CALLED FORT LAUDERDALE, THAT'S WHERE HE WAS BORN AND BEEN A PROUD "FT. LAUDERDARIAN" SINCE. AS FAR BACK AS MEMORY SERVES HE'S ALWAYS HAD A PENCIL IN HAND

(SOME SAY HE WAS BORN WITH PENCIL FOR A FINGER)

tHE JOURNEY ALL BEGAN AS DRAWING COMPETITIONS WITH HIS COUSINS AS THEY BABYSAT HIM TO BUILDING GAMES OUT OF OLD CEREAL BOXES WITH HIS OLDER BROTHER DURING WEEKENDS AT THEIR GRANDPARENTS'.

WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT SUCH HUMBLE BEGINNINGS AND a love for art would take him across the country to new York to study to become a professional cartoonist; On a pretty darned good scholarship, might i add!

pretty crazy, right? how about even becoming a serialized artist in a magazine he used to dream of working with since the 10th grade!?

even crazier to think of all the recognition and praise his artwork has gotten garnered over the years, from childhood heroes to complete strangers across the world.

though, pretty cool and testaments to his journey, honestly, he couldn't care less about all of the accolades. the riches and fame, Though greatly appreciated!! \(^_^)/, isn't his driving force behind it. 

 

Nah, his goal is much simpler than that.

he dreams to do for others what reading comics did for him growing up.

inspire and bring pure joy, hopefully affecting a life for the better.

dreams are supposed to just stay that, right? Dreams.

to think of a dream as a possible reality would be for the insane, right?

impossible to achieve.

 

not to the saint. the saint endures every trial to see his dreams become reality

and to him, that's perfectly sane.
